For Enrique, being gay isn't a happy experience. He's a chubby man that finds himself at the bottom of the social ladder. Faced with constant rejection, he looks for love on the streets with male prostitutes. But what comes easy doesn't always remain that way.

Dontae has the body and exotic looks that makes him an instant catch. After a tragic event in his life, he turns to selling sex in order to keep a roof over his head. He finally meets someone who offers to help but quickly realizes that the cost is greater than the benefit.

After a chance encounter, Enrique and Dontae lives are intertwined in a complex situation that could destroy them both. Everything they thought knew about life is put to the test.

Sex , deception and prostitution take center stage in this erotic urban short story.

Honestly, I really didn't know what to expect from this book because I'm really not into urban fiction or erotica; it's just not my thing. However, I found myself pleasantly surprised how this story pulled me in; I really enjoyed the book. So much so that I read it in a matter of days during my commute back and forth to work on the train. What I found most interesting and refreshing is the author's exploration of what it is to be "man of size" (overweight) in today's brutally vain gay culture. Mr. Ross holds nothing back in this short novel - almost to a fault. Although I found Dontae and Enrique's individual situations to be a genuine and believable slice of reality at time - there were moments when they came across a bit too self-pitying (especially Enrique) and helpless. That's just my take... And I disagree with one review that said "there's no story line" which couldn't be further from the truth. I walked away very curious to know what ultimately happens with the two main characters. Do they make it? I guess I will have to wait for the next book to find out, huh? Oh yeah... the sex scenes ARE very graphic - BE WARNED!

Confessions What Homeboys Really Sell edition by Dick Ross Literature Fiction eBooks Reviews

This book opens up in a way that turned my stomach. It was just too graphic for my liking and I had to delete it from my .
This wasp way too short, I can't believe I got so caught up with the this book. I was left hanging and wanting more.
Great book. I enjoyed every word. Great characters. I look forward to part 2. I want to find out what will happen with the main characters.
I going to say the book was okay. Everything's good leading to the hook up. But no juice details of them getting down and dirty.
Never in a MILLION years would I have thought about reading this genera But I am an equal opportunity reader
I don't discriminate. Dante is just a hustler and dude with the E name just wants to be loved. This is a alright story with no real story line just alot of sexual encounters.
I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I'd be lying if I said that I didn't identify with Enrique on some levels. His struggle opened some old wounds from my past. Thankfully though, my life played out much better than his. I loved the references to actual places that I've been to myself. Felt like I was right there with him. Looking forward to reading more.
This was a very good read. Short, erotic and crazy. I love drama and wild scenes. The pure emotion in this book told me that some of this may be factual. The lifestyles of these two characters were something else. I can say this book really made me think and opened my eyes even further then they already were. The male sex trade is just as wild and dangerous as the female one, if not more. P.s. Can't wait for part two.
